Fossil X Sketchers watch gift set recall for high levels of lead

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health shared Friday that the The Sketchers Watch and Jewelry Gift Set made in collaboration with the Fossil group is being recalled.

The clasp on the braided bracelet sold in the watch gift set contains high levels of lead, according to RIDOH.

There are about 260 gift sets that are being recalled. They will have the code number “IF2812307” and model number “SR9082” printed on the back of the watch.

Consumers should throw the product away immediately and contact the store or website where the product was purchased.
