Foster Center Volunteer Fire Company announces death of member

FOSTER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Foster Center Fire Company announced the death of their fellow member on Saturday.

Lieutenant Ken Vento died on Saturday evening.

In a Facebook post, the fire station shared a statement on the passing of their “cherished brother and member.”

“His legacy of honor, dedication, and loyalty to the town of Foster will endure,” they said.

Details on his services have not been released.
