Foxwoods Resort Casino fire hospitalizes three firefighters
MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (WLNE) — Three firefighters were hospitalized in the effort to contain a fire that broke out Tuesday night at a restaurant inside Foxwoods Resort Casino, according to the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation Fire Department.
According to our ABC affiliate WTNH, the fire occurred at the David Burke Prime Steakhouse in the casino.
The restaurant is located in the Grand Pequot Tower of the facility.
The fire was knocked down by 11:45 p.m. and the scene remained active for cleanup into the Wednesday morning hours.
The incident remains under investigation.
