Freetown man arrested on 5 warrants held without bail

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Freetown man who was arrested after an hours-long search over the weekend was held without bail after a hearing in Fall River District Court on Monday.

According to officials, 37-year-old Brandon Demoranville had his bail revoked on all of his open cases including non-violent crimes like breaking and entering and larceny. He is now being held without bail for 90 days.

According to police, Demoranville was arrested on Sunday with the public’s help after someone spotted him at a Mobil Mart in East Freetown with his mother and girlfriend.

Two days before his arrest, police searched for him for hours on Chace Road on land and in the air.

Raynham Police and Massachusetts State Police assisted in the search after Demoranville took off into the woods.
