Friends and colleagues remember couple that died in Dartmouth plane crash
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — As the NTSB investigation continues into Monday’s fatal plane crash in Dartmouth, we’re hearing from the yoga studio that crash victim Aggie Perkins taught at.
Aggie died along with her husband, Thomas, after their small plane crashed into I-195 Monday morning.
In their statement, the Portsmouth-based Tenth Gate Yoga Center sent the family condolences, writing “I have known her for years, and it will take some time to truly believe that she has left this earth. She was one who could make me laugh hysterically.”
Tom Perkins was a partner at Kirby Perkins Construction in Newport.
Now, one of their rival firms is remembering Perkins.
Portsmouth-based BRS Building Construction remembered Tom as a “Talented builder whose craftsmanship and dedication raised the standard in our community, but also a generous colleague who supported others in the trade,” noting the two firms had collaborated on several projects.
BRS closed by saying Tom and Aggie’s loss is “deeply felt throughout the local building community.”
