Friends Want Answers in Fall River Woman’s Drowning Death

Workers drained the Veterans Memorial Pool in Fall River, Friday, to try and find more clues in the drowning death of Marie Joseph.

Marie Joseph's body was found floating in the pool at Fall River's Lafayette Park on June 28th, but investigators tell ABC6 News that her body was in the pool the 2 days prior.

Since the incident, questions have been asked about how lifeguards never noticed Joseph's body, why the pool was opened with such poor water quality, and why Joseph drowned in the first place.

Those questions loom over the city of Fall River, but also weigh heavily on the friends and family of Joseph. ABC6 Reporter Erin Logan spoke with the victim's closest friends, and has that story…
