From ‘disgusting abomination’ bill to Epstein accusation, Musk says Trump tweets ‘went too far’

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Elon Musk has some regrets.

Musk took to social media Wednesday to say that he regrets some of his recent posts about President Donald Trump.

Until recently, Musk was head of the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency, where he spearheaded mass layoffs of federal workers.

However, Musk’s relationship with Trump deteriorated in public fashion last week as the two men traded jabs on social media.

Musk slammed Trump’s massive tax and domestic policy bill, labeling it a “disgusting abomination.”

He also called for Trump’s impeachment and alleged, without providing evidence, that Trump’s name appeared in documents related to convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Musk deleted some of his most incendiary posts about the president and now, Musk has tweeted that his posts quote “went too far.”
