From Sun To Snow!

Once again, we’re waking up to temperatures in the teens and feels-like temperatures in the single digits. On the (literal) bright side, we have plenty of sunshine to start this Wednesday! Highs later today will be in the upper 20s, and while it’ll still be breezy, it won’t be nearly as windy as the last two days.

Our next storm squeezes by us on Thursday. This storm will have major impacts for millions of people from the Mid South to the Carolina coast. As for us? The impacts will be minimal in comparison. This storm is passing far enough to our south that we really only see some lighter snow showers across Rhode Island and Bristol County (MA) Thursday afternoon and evening. Most of us will see a coating by Thursday night. That said, the numbers could add up a bit more for the Cape and Islands (looking at 1-2″ widespread, even more locally) so keep that in mind if you’re doing any traveling toward the end of the week.

After the storm is gone, clouds decrease into Friday. While not as windy as Monday and Tuesday were, Friday will be breezy with sunshine in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s.

The weekend is looking great! Arguably one of the nicer weekends we’ve had in a while. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid 30s, while Sunday’s numbers will hover around 40. Both days look sunny!
