Massachusetts communities continue to support the family of a child who was killed in a fire in Westport.
Jerry Remy’s Bar and Grill in Fall River, along with the Firefighters Wives Association, held a fundraiser Monday night to raise money for the family of 4-year-old Caleb Nardolillo, who was killed the fire that ripped through their home on December 19th.
Caleb’s mother, Melody, and sister, 7-year-old Bella, survived the fire but were hospitalized for smoke inhalation and severe burns. They are both expected to be okay.
All together, the Firefighters Wives Association and Jerry Remy’s were able to raise $1,851 for the family.
The GoFundMe page for the family and a YouCaring crowd funding page raised a combined $20,000.
