Gabriel House fire fundraisers bring in combined $125,000

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Flags are at half-staff this morning in honor of the ten victims of the Gabriel House fire.

Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on Sunday.

Fundraising efforts are still underway, and organizers are asking for the public’s help.

The Firefighters Wives Association along with other local organizations have raised more than $80,000 in their GoFundMe efforts.

Event organizers said they raised an additional $45,000 at last week’s fundraiser.

Now, organizers are asking the public to help them locate survivors.

Families or friends are asked to contact the organization if their loved one is in need.

20 of the 70 survivors have been contacted so far.
