Garage, vehicles destroyed in fire at Easton business

EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) – A garage and multiple vehicles were destroyed in a fire at a business in South Easton on Tuesday.

The Easton Fire Department said crews responded to the blaze at ECCO HVAC on Turnpike Street around 3 a.m.

Officials said firefighters observed a detached garage with a camper and multiple cars on fire at the scene.

Mutual aid was called due to concerns of the flames spreading to a nearby house, per authorities.

The department said firefighters were able to contain the fire to the garage and prevent it from spreading to the home.

The blaze was extinguished within two hours of the initial dispatch, according to officials.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
