Gas prices continue to drop in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Gas prices are down for the sixth straight week according to AAA Northeast, but this trend could level off soon.

The average price of gas in Rhode Island dropped three cents a gallon averaging $3.38 per gallon.

This is 16 cents lower than last month, and 14 cents lower than this time last year.

Rhode Island’s average gas price is currently six cents lower than the national average.
