Gas prices down in Rhode Island, to $2.75 per gallon

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Gas prices are down again in Rhode Island, to an average of $2.75 for a gallon of regular.
AAA Northeast says its weekly survey released Monday found gas prices in the Ocean State had gone down an average 4 cents per gallon from last week.
Gas prices in Rhode Island are 2 cents less per gallon than the national average of $2.77.
AAA says last year at this time, gas prices were averaging 35 percent more than today in Rhode Island. Gas cost $3.72 per gallon a year ago, 97 cents more per gallon.
