Gas prices fall five cents per gallon

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Average gasoline prices in Rhode Island have fallen five cents per gallon in the last week, according to a recent report.

The national average is $3.44 a gallon today, as prices averaged $3.49 a week ago, and $3.61 a gallon a month ago.

According to the recent report from AAA, today’s price is 17 cents lower than a month ago, and 6 cents lower than June 10, 2023.

Rhode Island’s average gas price is the same as the national average.
