Gas prices in Rhode Island jump over 18 cents within days
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Prices at the pump in Rhode Island have jumped over 18 cents within days, according to AAA.
A gas report released Monday shows that the state’s average prices have reached a record high of $4.37 a gallon. That price even surpassed the national average of $4.32 a gallon.
Last week, the average gas price in the state sat at $4.19 a gallon.
Diesel prices have also risen to $6.32 a gallon.
