Gas prices rise by 3.8 cents

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) —  Average gasoline prices in Providence have risen again, according to GasBuddy.

In the last week, gas prices have risen 3.8 cents per gallon, after GasBuddy surveyed 200 stations in Providence.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Providence was priced at $3.44 a gallon yesterday while the most expensive was $3.89 a gallon, a difference of 45 cents per gallon. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $3.39 a gallon while the highest was $3.89.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 1.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.63 a gallon today.
