Gas prices up 4 cents per gallon in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ Gas prices are up an average of 4 cents per gallon in Rhode Island.
AAA Northeast found in its weekly survey released on Tuesday that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular has risen to $2.33.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $2.23 and as high as $2.41 per gallon.
The Rhode Island price is a penny higher than the national average.
Last year at this time, the price of gas was 36 cents higher, at $2.69 per gallon.
