Girl Scouts collecting donations for Swansea/Somerset Animal Shelter

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) –Members of Girl Scout Troop 882 are collecting donations for the Swansea/Somerset Animal Shelter as part of their Bronze Award project.

The scouts are asking for donation of items such as animal treats, dog and cat food, cat litter, bleach, dish soap, paper towels, sponges, laundry detergent, toys, blankets, trash bags, and collars and leashes.

Donations can be dropped off at the Somerset Library, Somerset Police Station, Swansea Police Station, Li’l Audrey’s, and Spinnaker Veterinary Clinic.

The troop will be accepting donations through the end of May.
