Glocester Police arrest man wanted on outstanding warrants

GLOCESTER, R.I. (WLNE) — The Glocester Police Department said that it arrested a man wanted on several outstanding warrants on Wednesday.

42-year-old Michael Gilligan was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, distribution or manufacturing a controlled substance on or near a school, and possession of a controlled substance – cocaine.

Gilligan was taken into custody without incident and police alleged that a search found approximately 155 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine.
