Goddard Park Beach re-opened to swimming

Goddard Memorial State Park Beach will be re-opened to swimming after being closed for one day due to high bacteria counts.
The RI Department of Health recommended the beach be closed Tuesday.
Officials continued monitoring the water quality Wednesday and after samples came back with acceptable limits, HEALTH deemed it safe for swimming again.
