Gov. McKee celebrates the beginning of Pride Month in Rhode Island
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island officials celebrated the start of Pride Month at the Rhode Island State House Tuesday.
Governor McKee and Lieutenant Governor Sabina Matos signed a proclamation, recognizing June as Pride Month in Rhode Island.
This comes as the state prepares for this year’s Pride Fest on June 21 in Providence.
The state house will be lit up in pride colors Tuesday night.
