PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Governor Raimondo signing the continuing contracts bill into law today.

It mandates lifetime contracts for union employees, such as teachers and municipal workers across the state.

The firefighter overtime bill will also become law.

The Governor transmitted the bill without her signature meaning she neither signed it, nor vetoed it.
