Providence, RI-   Governor Raimondo visited with elementary school students Thursday as she announced the winner of her "Governor for a Day" essay contest.  This is all part of women’s history month with over four hundred girls wrote essays explaining what they would do if they were Governor for a day.

This year’s winner is 11-year-old Sophia Miranda, a 5th grader at Lincoln Central Elementary School.

Sophia said helping those in need would be her main priority.
