Governor McKee keeping busy on his 100th day in office

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Thursday marks the 100th-day Governor Dan Mckee has been in office since the now U.S Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, left the position. Governor McKee has a packed schedule ahead of him.
Starting at 10:00 today, Governor McKee, accompanied by Lt. Governor Matos will visit the William M. Davies, Jr. Career and Technical High School vaccination clinic.
They will then visit two small businesses that received a $5,000 R.I Small Business Relief Grant at 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.
The businesses are the Savoy Bookshop and Cafe, and Two Little Fish in Westerly.
Governor McKee and Lt. Governor Matos will then tour an active construction site on the former I-95 land in Providence at 2:00 p.m.
Finally, Governor McKee and Matos will visit Progreso Latino to recognize them for supporting the state’s COVID-19 response, and conducting community outreach during the pandemic.
