Great end to the week as less humid air arrives

Does it feel like the never ending July of humidity? Well that’s because it essentially has been!

Providence has gotten off to it’s most muggy start to the month of July on record. But it’s going to ease up as we head towards the weekend.

Friday is my pick of the week! Blue skies will be accompanied by highs in the low 80s and very low humidity.

The weekend is looking pretty good too, with sun and clouds both days and highs rising a few degrees each day, back to the upper 80s by Sunday.

The humidity will start creeping back in as we head into next week, coinciding with showers and storms returning to the forecast as well.

There is a late day chance on Tuesday, but a much better chance Wednesday into Thursday.

As far as any heat waves, no widespread hot and humid days are likely for at least the next week.
