Gunshots in New Beford near rec. center

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The city of New Bedford said gunshots were fired in the area of the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center.

Rec. center employees on scene told ABC 6 they heard gunshots coming from the lot across the street, and that police found shell cases and asked for surveillance footage.

Officials said there are no reported victims at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
