Halloween fun to be offered by communities across southern New England tonight
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Looking for somewhere to take the kids this Halloween night besides the usual trick-or-treat route?
Several local cities and towns are holding events for the occasion.
The Providence Children’s Museum will accommodate families with younger children with their earlier-start trick-or-treating.
The museum staff will have treats for the kids throughout the day, including stickers, toys and bubbles.
Providence Place Mall will hold a mall-wide trick-or-treating event.
A magician will be on hand, along with a roaming Frankenstein’s monster on stilts.
Heading over to Newport, the Jane Pickens Theatre will be holding “Spooky Season Screenings,” ending the month-long run with the classics “Halloween” and “Friday the 13th” starting tonight at 6.
In Massachusetts, the Fall River Police Station will host its second annual Haunted Halls event.
The station will be transformed into a fun Halloween destination from 4 to 6 p.m.
