Hasbro Children’s Hospital names 2020 ‘Brite Lite’ recipients
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Hasbro Children’s Hospital announced the recipients of the hospital’s 2020 Brite Lite award recipients Wednesday.
The awards are given to medical staff nominated by patients and families.
The recipients are:
- Lee Polikoff, MD, of East Greenwich, RI, pediatric intensivist, division of pediatric critical care, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
- Wael Asaad, MD, PhD, of Westwood, MA, neurosurgeon, Norman Prince Neuroscience Institute
- Luca Bartolini, MD, of Providence, RI, director, pediatric epilepsy program, and pediatric neurologist/epileptologist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital
- Robert Bissitt, RN, of Greenville, RI, registered nurse, Hasbro Children’s Hospital
- Abbey Lamb, PT, DPT, of Providence, RI, physical therapist, children’s rehabilitation services, Rhode Island Hospital
The Brite Lite awards recognize Hasbro employees who “have gone above and beyond their everyday duties to make the patients and families with whom they come into contact feel safe, important, and well cared for.”
