Hasbro eying potential Boston Seaport District relocation
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Toy maker Hasbro could relocate to a lab-and-office building in Boston’s Seaport district.
That’s according to a new report from the Boston Business Journal.
Hasbro still remains in Pawtucket, but the Boston Business Journal broke the news about the search for a new headquarters back in September.
According to the Journal’s sources, Hasbro could move to Summer Street, the Foundation Medicine building that recently opened.
The Boston Business Journal said the company could announce the final decision in the coming weeks.
When reached for comment on this matter, a Hasbro spokesperson said:
We haven’t made a decision yet. As we’ve shared from the start, we’re actively exploring options.
