NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Fire Services said that District 1 Hazmat technicians responded for an ammonia leak in New Bedford.
The New Bedford Fire Department said a call came in around 8:45 a.m. for an ammonia sensor activation at Norpel on Fish Island.
The same facility experienced a similar leak on May 26 and was “undergoing repairs and testing their systems.”
