Hazy, Hot & Humid through midweek.

Sunday Evening Forecast

It was a hot day today, but the dewpoint temperature was turned down a bit. However, the tropical humidity levels will return over the next several days with dewpoints climbing back into the 70s and the feel like temperatures will soar. As a result, A HEAT ADVISORY has been issued for Monday for heat index temperatures of 95-102°. An EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH may likely be issued for Tuesday because it will feel even hotter. Since the risk of heat-related illness is high, and even greater for the elderly and children, you are advised to seek air-conditioned relief, stay hydrated and don’t forget your pets. The heat breaks with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday. After the cold front clears, temperatures and humidity become seasonable and pleasant for Friday and Saturday.
