Head-on crash sends 2 people to the hospital

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) – Police responded to a reported crash in North Providence early Saturday morning. 

A pick-up truck appeared to have crashed head on with a Sedan on Woodward road around 1:00 a.m. 

According to police, the operator of the pick-up truck is male, who was put in custody for suspected DUI. 

There were 2 people in the Sedan, who were transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
