Healey, Coogan and Bristol County DA to provide separate updates on Gabriel House fire

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — There will be two updates from officials regarding the deadly Gabriel House fire and its aftermath on Tuesday.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey is meeting with Mayor Paul Coogan in Fall River.

The two leaders will debrief on the latest updates to the fire at the Gabriel House assisted living facility.

Following their meeting, Governor Healey, Mayor Coogan and other city department leaders will provide an update to the public at 11:15 this morning.

We’re expecting to learn more about the preliminary findings from the fire investigation.

The Bristol County DA’s office will also hold a press briefing today.

The update will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
