Healthcare summit to be held at Rhode Island State House
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, State Speaker Joseph Shekarchi, and State Senate President will hold a healthcare summit today.
The summit, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the House Chamber, will focus on the state’s healthcare system.
The summit will bring healthcare physicians and providers, hospital CEOs, industry leaders, insurers, and pivotal stakeholders together to engage in a comprehensive review and discussion surrounding important issues.
The summit will be televised live on Capitol Television, which can be seen on Cox Channel 61, on i3Broadband channel 15, and Verizon channel 34.
