Heat, Humidity and a Rumble of Thunder

Two toasty days down, one to go. It’ll still be warm and muggy overnight with lows in the low to mid 70s.

Tomorrow, we’ll have highs in the low 80s for the coast and mid to upper 80s inland. Expect it to feel like we’re in the low to mid 90s in the afternoon, and even upper 90s at times. We’re also keeping an eye out for a few thunderstorms tomorrow. It doesn’t look like storms will be widespread, but one or two could pop into Southern New England bringing some heavy rain, thunder and lightning. Right now, it looks like we could also catch a stray shower or thunderstorm in the evening as well, but don’t expect anything widespread.

Things start to clear out on Friday, with clouds parting to give us some more sunshine. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s, and humidity will be considerably lower.

While Friday is a top contender, I think Saturday may just be the nicest day of the week. Humidity will stay low, highs will be right on the money for this time of year (low to mid 80s), and we’ll have tons of sunshine to start the weekend.

Clouds move in Saturday night, and we’re looking at a few rounds of rain (and even a thunderstorm or two) on Sunday.
