Heat Returns Next Week

Another stunning summer weekend is expected, with sunshine for Saturday and Sunday and seasonable temperatures 80-85. Humidity will be relatively comfortable as well. If you’re headed to Waterfire in Providence Saturday night, consider bringing a light cardigan or hoodie as temps will drop once we lose the light of the day and may be cool for some folks. Next week is looking hot as temperatures approach 90 Monday with sunshine and into the low 90s Tuesday and Wednesday. With a spike in humidity, it will feel oppressive in the 90s. Wednesday night into Thursday is showing signals of being our next chance of rain as a front comes through. Thursday is shaping up to be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper-80s and partly cloudy skies with seasonably cooler temps finish out the week for Friday.
