Heavy rains cause flooding in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – Flooding from heavy rains has displaced six people in an apartment building and school buses will have to take an alternate route Wednesday morning.
The overnight rain has affected several roads in Cranston.
Fletcher Avenue from Garrison Street to Back Street are blocked off, as well as parts of Narragansett Boulevard, Wilbur Avenue and Oakland Avenue.
The six tenants of the building on Oaklawn Avenue had to evacuate overnight.
