UPDATE: Helicopter down in Worden Pond in South Kingstown

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — According to the South Kingstown Fire Department a helicopter has gone down in the water of Worden Pond.
Two people are reported to have been in the Robinson R-44 helicopter and were sitting on top of the vehicle after it went down at around 9 a.m. Tuesday.
They were picked up from the helicopter by a private boater.
One person was taken to South County Hospital with minor injuries and the other was treated at the scene.
The passengers were doing testing with sensors on the helicopter skids and lost depth perception and hit the water.
The Federal Aviation Administration will be investigating the incident.
