Hello, Meteorological Fall!

Monday Evening Forecast

Happy September and happy Meteorological Fall! That’s right, in our book, we’ve started a new season. We, the meteorologists, start the seasons on the first of the three-month period. It’s easier for the sake of record-keeping.

On that note, this first day of “fall” was another cool one, with highs in the mid 70s for the most part (while the average high is about 80 degrees). Overnight, we’ll be below average again with lows in the mid 50s. Clouds will decrease as we head into Tuesday morning, with sunshine by Tuesday afternoon. Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 70s.

We’ll stay mostly sunny on Wednesday and Thursday, with highs in the mid 70s again Wednesday and upper 70s Thursday. Then, Thursday evening, clouds increase ahead of our next area of low pressure. This system looks like it’ll bring a few rounds of showers and even some thunderstorms Friday, and a few more showers on Saturday. Highs will be near 80 both days.
