Here Comes the Heat Again!

Here we go again! Temperatures are back in the upper 80s and low 90s this afternoon. With the humidity, it’ll feel like we’re between 95-100. That’s the case for tomorrow and Wednesday as well, which is why we have a Heat Advisory in place from today through 8 PM Wednesday.

Monday afternoon and evening look to bring a few nasty thunderstorms to southern New England as well. While most storms will try to avoid the Ocean State, one or two with gusty winds and heavy rain can’t be counted out.

Storms hold off during the day on Tuesday, but Tuesday evening will bring a few more gusty storms back into the picture. Wednesday follows suit, with storms around late in the day.

We finally see this pattern break on Thursday as a cold front passes through New England! We’ll pay the price of more storms as the front moves east, but temperatures Thursday will at least be in the mid 80s rather than upper 80s or 90s. Better yet, Friday looks absolutely stunning. Air from the north will move in after the front, drying us out and putting high temperatures back in the low to mid 80s. We’ll have plenty of sunshine as well! Enjoy!
