High brush fire risk continues Saturday, but some rain in sight!

It may not be a lot of rain, but we will certainly take it as drought conditions persist across New England.

Saturday will be a sunny and colder day with blustery north winds. As a result, Friday’s *Red Flag Warning* has been extended for a high risk of brush fires.

Wake-up temps in the 30s will rise into the low 50s by the afternoon. Even colder morning temps settle in for Sunday, down around freezing.

Sunday afternoon will be a bit higher (upper 50s) as clouds begin to increase ahead of that next rain chance.

Faster-timing with the system means we could see some showers as early as Sunday evening. A quick quarter to third of an inch of rain is expected to fall overnight into early Monday.

Skies will gradually clear on Veterans Day, with highs in the mid-60s. That will be the warmest day of the week as we fall back into the 50s for the foreseeable future.
