Highway crash claims life of Texas man in Warwick
WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island State Police announced the death of a man in a pedestrian crash on Route 95 near the Route 37 exits this morning.
According to the RISP, yesterday at 9:36 p.m., a 33-year-old man from San Benito, Texas was a passenger in a southbound van when he reportedly exited the vehicle while it was driving.
Upon leaving the car, the man was struck by several other cars and was pronounced dead due to his injuries.
No other information, including the identity of the victim, has been released at this time.
