Hit and run after another car crashes into a building

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE): Providence police are searching for the driver of a hit and run on Douglas Avenue on Sunday night around 8:30 p.m.

According to Commander Thomas Verdi, a car went through a red light and hit another car that ended up crashing into a building.

3 people inside the car that crashed into the building were sent to the hospital, including an 8-year-old boy for  precautionary measures.

The Providence Police Department is investigating.
