Hit and run under investigation after pieces left behind

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) – Police investigate a hit and run that occurred earlier this month, that resulted in serious injury.
This hit and run took place on July 8, at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Victory Highway at Waterman Hill Road.
The suspect is said to have been driving a standard cab Dodge Ram pickup with a silver cap, made between 1999 and 2005.
The debris seen in the above picture was recovered from the scene of the hit and run, and confirms the make and model of the suspects car model.
The truck shown in the image above is only a reference.
The suspects truck is said to be a single cab.
The victim of this suffered serious injury and was transported to the hospital, and later released.
