Honduran immigrant wanted on multiple charges arrested in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Federal agents say in Massachusetts alone last month they arrested nearly 1,500 immigrants in a sweep dubbed “Operation Patriot.”

One of the people removed was a 37-year-old Honduran national who was arrested in Fall River.

DHS said this man was wanted on several charges including rape, assault and battery and kidnapping.

They said he also has several convictions in Massachusetts for DUI and served a one-year sentence in Iowa for DUI as well.
