Hope Valley-Wyoming Fire responds to two vehicle fires

HOPE VALLEY, R.I. (WLNE) – Firefighters from the Hope Valley-Wyoming Fire Department responded to two vehicle fires Monday morning.

In a post shared on social media, the department released details on two, single vehicle accidents.

The first accident occurred around 10 a.m., and involved a car that had driven down an embankment, ultimately running into a stone wall near exit 4 on Nooseneck Hill Road.

A second accident occurred around 11:30 a.m., also on Nooseneck Hill Road. A car drove into a telephone pole near Skunk Hill Road, causing a tree to fall down.

Fire Chief Justin Lee tells us that the drivers of both vehicles were transported to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
