Hopkins Hill Fire Marshal dies of occupational cancer

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Hopkins Hill Fire Department said that Fire Marshal Mark Vincent died due to occupational cancer.

Vincent had been a member of the department since 1974, and he was the district’s first full-time employee.

The department said Vincent was a former deputy chief as well.
