Hopkinton man arrested for assaulted

HOPKINTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Richmond Police Department said it arrested a Hopkinton man on Dec. 2 for alleged assault.

Timothy Palmer was charged with assault on a person causing serious bodily injury.

The department said an investigation was launched after receiving a report that Palmer assaulted a person on Nov. 13.

Palmer was arrested and arraigned. He was released on $10,000 bail and is expected to appear in court on Mar. 5, 2023.
