Hopkinton police say report of suspicious activity on Halloween was unfounded

HOPKINTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Edit: Hopkinton police said the people accused in suspicious activity on Halloween were not a part of any crime.

Police in Hopkinton are looking to identify people who entered a house without permission on Halloween.

The department posted photos of two adults linked to the suspicious activity, which happened around 7 p.m. Tuesday at a house in the Beechwood Hollow area of town.

Police said the residents weren’t home, and the people in the photos entered without permission.
