Horford makes career best six threes, propels Celtics to come from behind Game 1 win

SAN FRANCISCO, Cali. (WLNE) — It took Al Horford 15 years to reach the NBA Finals and he did not disappoint, leading the Boston Celtics to Game 1 120-108 road victory over the Golden State Warriors.
Horford dropped a career high six three-pointers as part of his team high 26 points.
Boston had to come from behind to capture the Game 1 win, as they entered the fourth quarter trailing 92-80
However, Jaylen Brown, who had 24 points, spurred a 12-2 Celtics run to cut the deficit to two just three minutes into the quarter.
Boston took the lead for good on a Horford trey, with just over five minutes remaining. That bucket was part of a 17-0 run in the frame.
Derrick White contributed 21 points off the bench, including going 5-8 of from three.
The game featured the most three pointers made in a NBA Finals game, with the two teams combining for 40 made three-pointers.
Boston was 51% from behind the arc while Golden State shot 42%.
Steph Curry, who made six three-pointers in the first quarter (another NBA Finals record for made threes in a quarter), led all scorers with 34 points.
